The Minetta

This is one of my favorite songs from The Blackwell Convergence. When I first saw the sketches of The Minetta, a real life tavern in NYC, I knew I had to write some really intimate jazz. Sort of what a small jazz quartet might play at a smokey tavern.
Almost all the songs in The Blackwell Convergence include a reference to the original theme from Blackwell Unbound. Played in various styles and keys. This goes for The Minetta as well and I think it's one of the coolest jazz-tunes I've ever written.
I've gotten a few requests for the sheet music. Get it here.
